Dear WPS Staff,
We have been speaking with many of you regarding your classroom needs, as well as some interesting ideas you have for creating new and innovative programs to benefit our students. We have been impressed by the eagerness many of you have expressed to assist us or in some cases take a leadership role in our search for funds to support the district’s growing list of classroom needs and needed programs.
As we move into the summer months we will continue in our efforts to identify potential funding sources for the district. It is our hope that as the next academic year draws near we will be able to rely on your assistance and expertise as we approach external funders for financial support. We also want to encourage you to continue to let us know what your needs and/or ideas are so we will be alert if a potential funding source should become available.
For those of you who are already writing grants or might be interested in writing a grant please let us know. We can help!! Attached you will find a “Grant Approval Form”. Please complete this form and submit to the Grant Office if you plan on submitting a grant application. We will be more than happy to work with you during the grant writing process. If you would like assistance with a grant application, please complete the Grant Assistance Form.
