Boy's Soccer 2 Wellesley 0

The boys improved to 4-0-1 with a big win at Wellesley. Scoring the goals for Weymouth were T. Butler from A. Tambi and K. Cerkez from D. Conroy. Goalie S. Greenwood (6 saves) and the Wildcat defense earned the third shutout in a row.  The team will travel to Needham on Friday.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 5 and 1 with a victory at home over Wellesley.  Scoring the Weymouth goals were J. Kimball, K. Donahue, and S. Conneely.  The team will host Needham on Thursday at 4:00.

Boy's Cross Country defeats Framingham and Wellesley

The boys improved to 2 and 1 on the season with two victories at home.  The team will look to keep it rolling when they host Needham and Milton on Tuesday.

Girl's Cross Country Defeats Framingham and Wellesley

The defending State champions improved to 3 and 0 on the season with a double victory in the BSC.  The ladies will host Needham and Milton next Tuesday.

Weymouth Golf 69 Dedham 39

The golf team earned their first win of the season at home over Dedham.  The team will play at Newton North on Tuesday and then Wellesley on Thursday to complete a busy week in the BSC.

Girl's soccer 1-0 over Whitman-Hanson

The Lady Wildcats improved to 4-1 with a victory over W-H on Saturday night.  Junior goalie M. Stuart earned a shutout while freshmen M. Elmore scored the game's only goal assisted by freshmen A. Bell.  The ladies will host Wellesley Tuesday afternoon.

Weymouth Football 49 Wellesley 14

Senior QB C. McLevedge threw for three touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown to lead the team to victory in the home opener.  Also scoring for Weymouth were O. Colarusso, S. Whouley, K. Bailey Smith, and sophomore D. Fernandez.  Sophomore receiver D. Harrison added a two point conversion while kicker T. Smith provided five PAT's.  The team will travel to Gloucester this Friday night to take on the two time defending Super Bowl champions.

In an early season battle between two of the top teams in Massachusetts, Weymouth came away with an exciting victory on the road.  Junior goalkeeper S. Greenwood recorded his second straight shutout to help the team inprove to 3-0-1 on the season.  The boys will travel to Wellesley on Tuesday.
