Girl's Basketball defeats Framingham 51-47

The girls improved to 8 and 6 with an overtime victory at home over the Lady Flyers.  The team will host Walpole on Tuesday.

The boys improved to 11 and 1 with an impressive victory on the road in Framingham.  the team will travel to Walpole on Tuesday.

Boy's and Girl's Track defeat Braintree

The track teams continued their successful seasons with victories over Braintree.  The ladies improved to 4 and 1 with a 59-35 win over the Wamps, while the boys improved to 3 and 2 with a 64-30 victory.  Both teams will take on Wellesley at the RLC next Thursday.

The boys improved to 4-7-3 with a big win over Framingham on the road.  The team will travel to Walpole on Saturday looking for win number five.

The girls improved to 8-3-2 on the season with an intense victory over Framingham at the Connell Rink.  The team will host Walpole ion Saturday morning at 10:00 AM.

The boys improved to 10 and 1 on the season with a victory at home over Norwood.  The team will travel to Framingham on Friday.

Wrestlers 54 Dedham 24

The wrestling team improved to 10-3 with an impressive victory on the road in Dedham.  The team will travel to Wellesley on Saturday to compete in the BSC Quad vs. the host Raiders, as well as Framingham and Norwood.

The girls defeated Norwood on the road to earn their seventh win of the season.  The team will host Framingham on Friday.

Wrestlers Finish Second at the Weymouth Invitational

The wrestlers had a strong showing at the 13th annual Weymouth Invitational.  Leading the way for the hosts were junior S. Murphy (170) and sophomore J. Bradley (160) who both finished in first place in their respective weight classes.  Murphy was voted the Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament by all of the coaches in attendance.  Also reaching the finals for the Wildcats were Seniors M. Ransom (132) and D. Wadman (220) along with sophomore J. Pickering (285).  The team will travel to Dedham on Tuesday.

The Weymouth Gymnasts Win their Third in a Row

The Gymnastics team evened their record at 3 and 3 by defeating Framingham 123.25 to 117.5 for their third consecutive victory.  Junior J. Laracy finished first on the floor with an 8.35. Sophomore C. Schiffmann tied for first on bars with E. Craig with a 7.4.  The team will travel to Needham on Friday looking for win number four.

The Wildcats improved to 9 and 1 with a victory on the road over the Wamps.  The team will host Norwood on Tuesday.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 7-3-2 with a win over the first place Braintree Wamps.  The team will travel to Norwood on Saturday for a 6:00 contest with the Lady Mustangs.

Weymouth Gymnasts 126.5 Norwood 118.1

The gymnastics team earned their second win in a row with a convincing home victory over the Lady Mustangs.  The team defeated Brookline 125.1 to 123.9 on Friday and will look to build on the momentum when they host Framingham on Friday at 5:00 PM.

The boys improved to 9 and 1 with a 65-49 victory over the visiting Warriors.  The team will travel to Braintree on Thursday.

Girl's Basketball defeats Brookline in Overtime

The Lady Wildcats improved to 6 and 5 with a thrilling 49-48 overtime victory in Brookline.  The team will host Braintree on Thursday.

Boy's Basketball improves to 8 and 1

The boys earned their eighth win of the season on the road over Needham.  The team will host Brookline on Tuesday at 6:45.

Boy's and Girl's Track both defeat Needham

The track teams earned victories over Needham. The girls remained undefeated on the season at 3 and 0, while the boys improved to 2 and 1.  Both teams will take on BSC power Newton North on Thursday at the Reggie Lewis Center.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 6-3-2 with a victory at Brookline.  The team will play Braintree on Tuesday at 4:00 at Connell.

The boy's earned their third win of the season with an explosive victory at Connell over the visiting Warriors.  The team will travel to Braintree on Wednesday.

Wrestlers Finish First at Whitman Invitational

The Wildcats took home the team title at the annual Whitman Hanson Invitational, outlasting Marshfield and Brockton in the twelve team field.  Earning first place in their respective weights were junior S. Murphy (195), and seniors D. Wadman (220) and T. Harrington 285).

 

The team returned to league matches with a 44-27 victory over Brookline improving their record to 8 and 2 on the season.  The team will travel to Cumberland Rhode Island on Saturday for an Invitational Tournament featuring top teams from all over New England.

Girl's Hockey 5-4 over Needham

The girl's improved to 5-3-2 on the season with an exciting win over the visiting Rockets.  Senior captain J. Ransom scored the game winner late in the third for the Wildcats. The ladies will travel to Brookline on Saturday morning.

Girl's Hockey 3-1 over Quincy-NQ

The Lady Wildcats improved to 4-3-1 on the season with a victory on the road over the Quincy-North Quincy combined team.  The ladies will host Newton North on Saturday morning at 10:00 at the Connell Rink.

Boy's Basketball wins Adam's Tournament

The boys basketball has roared to a 5 and 0 start - winning their second consecutive John Adams' Tournament in a row.  The team defeated North Quincy in the semi-finals before knocking off Braintree in the final of the hoilday tournament.  On Tuesday the team earned their fifth win by defeating Dedham 76-49.  The team will travel to Wellesley on Friday.

The Lady Wildcats started the New Year with a thrilling comeback victory over Dedham.  The ladies outscored Dedham 15-2 in the fourth quarter to earn a 38-33 victory.  The team advanced to the finals of the Abigail Adams Tournament over the vacation with a victory over North Quincy, before losing to Braintree in the final.

 

At 4and 2 the team will host Wellesley on Friday at 6:45.

Boy's Hockey 2-1 over Duxbury

The boys earned a spot in the finals of the Taylor Tournament over the vacation with a win over Duxbury.  The team lost in the finals to Hingham after jumping out to a 4-1 lead on the Harbormen.  Weymouth will travel to Wellesley on Wednesday to begin the New Year and return to BSC competition.
